We’re looking for a Legal Consultant (Mātanga Ture Wheako Kiritaki) to join our small, growing Customer Experience Team.
About the job
This is a customer-facing role at the intersection of law and technology. You’ll lead implementation projects, guide customers through legal compliance best practice, and build relationships with senior stakeholders across some of Aotearoa’s most respected organisations. This unique role allows for more autonomy and customer contact than a typical intermediate legal role.
What you’ll be doing
In this diverse customer-facing role, your work will include:
- Guiding organisations through ComplyWith legal compliance best practice
- Helping build relationships with senior stakeholders, laying the foundations for a trusted long-term relationship with customer organisations
- Using your legal knowledge, you’ll lead implementation projects end-to-end — from building compliance profiles to running customer meetings, tracking progress, and reporting to leadership and governance
- Contributing to improvements to the customer journey process and internal processes
- Advocating for our products at conferences and industry events
What you’ll bring
- Law degree with 4+ years’ legal experience
- Strong legal analysis skills and solid practical judgment
- Excellent communication skills and confidence leading meetings at a senior level
- Good project management skills and a systematic approach
- Genuine interest in law, technology, and customer-focused solutions
- A values-driven personality (integrity and trust are core to how we operate) and a doer who loves to get stuff done
